Tum humko yaad aaoge’ and ‘Mubarakein tumhe ke tum kisi ke noor ho gaye’. A strange story it is, indeed!

Time to post another timeless classic.  Main ye sochkar uske dar se utha tha from movie Haqeeqat which was based on Indo-China war is another piece of soulful voice of Rafi. Lyrics are absolutely nostalgic as if many of you would cry while listening it.

Feeling absolutely amazing right now while listening to and posting this song here on the blog. Likhe jo khat tujhe is an evergreen song from the movie Kanyadaan, one of my all time favorites. Beautiful soul-touching poetry, great composition and sensational singing of Rafi makes it a class apart. Likhe jo khat tujhe vo teri  yaad mein hazaron rang ke nazaare ban gaye…you cannot sum it up better a feeling for your loved one than in these two lines. I will paste a download song link sometime later. For now, close your eyes, cut yourself off of any distraction & immerse in this song like I am doing right now.

Phir Kahin Koi Phool Khila song from the movie Anubhav is very well sung by Manna dey. When you hear it, you’ll notice that the song has a magical soothing effect. Sadly, the song is not much in length. You can watch the original one right here from youtube and can also download mp3.

Phir kisi shakh ne phenki chhaon (chhanv) is another beautiful song from the movie Libaas directed by Gulzar, sung by Lata. Sadly, the movie was banned by the Censor Board of India and could never be released because its considerably bold subject at that time. The songs, all of them are timeless classics. I wrote about Sili hawa chhoo gayi a while back, this time it is another gem Phir kisi shaakh ne fenki chhanv.
