Talking about advertisements….You know some ads are just plain nonsense..some of them are so distasteful that the you find yourself stuck in your same old dreaded habit of switching channels all the time. The “what an IDEA Sir ji!” line of ads from Idea Cellular probably fall in to this category. Walk while you talk or talk while you walk, walk and talk, talk and walk, rubbish blatantly starts with the feel that the idea’s revolutionising India. No Sir, with all respect, the idea is not revolutionising by any means, it is nothing more than stupid imagination.

I love watching advertisements. Ads afford an opportunity to think & write creatively, come out with something better, something innovative. The Parachute Advansed Gorgeous Hamesha campaign (Gorgeous forever) is a beautiful example of creative ad making. The ad does not directly focus on the product, still subtly conveys the message through. The jingle is equally beautifully composed, highlighting the persona of an indian girl!
The nicely written ad copy starts with “Sachchi khubsoorati ko banne sanvarne ki zarurat nahi” (Real beauty needs no dressing up!)
By the way, find that first girl appearing in the starting quite attractive.
