A trip to ISKCON Temple in Delhi

Some photos of my trip to ISKCON temple in Delhi. I went there on a friend’s birthday. If you have any plans to visit ISKCON, don’t forget to buy movie tickets of Srimad Bhagvad Gita & Mahabharat.

Thumbnail previews on Google Search

Google seems to be doing a lot these days. After Google Instant, it has come up with another intuitive (though not much innovative) page results thumbnail previews feature. This is probably another attempt to enhance search experience for users or (perhaps a move to beat Bing). Note Bing is already offering similar thumbnail previews of webpages on search results pages. Google thumbnail previews are although a little different than how Bing displays its previews. The larger thumbnail is shown as soon as you hover the mouse over a search result. A somewhat similar functionality is already offered in image results where a larger preview of image is displayed after clicking.

When things go wrong

dont quit When things go wrong

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow–
You may succeed with another blow.

Dunia ki Iss Bheed mein Sabse Peeche Hum Khade

Silk route is also one of my favorites bands. I love the soothing music they compose…the lyrics are equally awesome. Here’s one of the finest from Silk route sung by Mohit Chauhan. The following is the original video.

There is one also from the movie Let’s Enjoy. That one is also filmed beautifully.

Lyrics of Sabse peeche hum khade
Zaara nazar uthake dekho
Baithe hain hum yahin
Bekhabar mujhse kyun ho
Itne bure bhi hum nahin

Zamane ki baaton mein uljho na
Hai yeh aasaan janana
Khud se jo agar tum poocho
Hai hum tumhare ke nahi
Teri aankhon ka jaadu
Poori duniya pe hai
Duniya ki iss bheed mein
Sabse peeche hum khade

Delhi ka number 1 SEO

This post is about finding out Delhi ka number 1 SEO or Delhi’s best SEO. I don’t have to elaborate on what search engine optimization or SEO is. Some say it is an art, some say it is a science. Whatever the case be, here in Delhi, SEO experts are in plenty. I come across so many SEO experts in New Delhi each one pronouncing itself as the best and number one SEO, Cheap and affordable is what they add besides, be it a freelancer or a company alike. The no. 1 seo is a cheap seo, don’t know about you, but it’s hard to swallow for me.

The Road not Taken

It’s Robert Frost again! This time the poem The Road not Taken which is basically about the decisions we take, the choices we make and their impact on our lives. And, no matter how hard you try to escape, you always have to make a choice!

two roads two choices The Road not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Jinhe Naaz hai Hind par voh kahan hain

I couldn’t have come up with a better post on the eve of India’s independence day. Jinhe naaz hai hind par voh kahan hai by Rabbi Shergill. The song is very touching and tells the story of 4 unsung heroes of India in a remarkable manner.

The best part is the strumming of the National Anthem tune between the verses, which serves as the perfect melody between the thought provoking verses.

Lyrics of Bilqis Jinhe naaz hai hind par

Mera naam Bilqis Yakub Rasool
Mujhse hui bas ek hi bhool
Ki jab dhundte thhe vo Ram ko
To main khadi thhi, rah mein
