Ek tha gul aur ek thi bulbul is a melodiously romantic song from the movie Jab Jab phool khile, another gem of Rafi, music by Kalyanji Anandji.  I have a certain liking for songs that have story-telling in them. This song is composed around the story of a Gul & Bulbul and elegantly keeps the flow going. Dedicated to all the Guls and Bulbuls with finished or unfinished stories. Listen to the song below.
