Speed up Windows XP
I know Windows 7 is out and is garnering positive feedback from majority of users. Unlike its Vista cousin, Windows 7 is faster, more responsive and takes up less system resources. Still, there are users who would just like to stick to the good old Windows xp. I am also running windows xp service pack 3 and its’ never given any headache since sp3 was installed. I’ll get back to the malware thing some other day, for now, let’s get windows xp running faster by tweaking few settings. There is an ebook I came across on PC security forum, that lets you speed up windows xp to the level that you can run it comfortably with a 256mb memory, although having more memory is recommended.
